An allergic reaction can vary greatly when your body detects an allergen it releases histamine. It is the release of the histamine which causes the symptoms of an allergic reaction include - red eyes, an itchy rash, sneezing, a runny nose, shortness of breath, or swelling. Allergies are many conditions caused by hypersensitivity of the immune system and the environment. These include hay fever, food allergies, atopic dermatitis, allergic asthma, and anaphylaxis. A food allergy is an abnormal immune response to food.
The symptoms of the allergic reaction may range from mild to severe. They may include itchiness, swelling of the tongue, vomiting, diarrhoea. Although sensitivity levels vary the most common food allergies are involved include cow's milk, peanuts, eggs, shellfish, fish, tree nuts, soy, wheat, rice, and part of the body's immune system, binds to food molecules. This triggers the release of inflammatory chemicals such as histamine. Diagnosis is usually based on medical history, an elimination diet. Symptoms of food intolerance can overlap with those of more serious conditions, making use of appropriate diagnostic procedures is particularly important. Most people can eat a very wide range of foods without any problems although they may have likes or dislikes that influence what they choose. However, some people react badly to certain everyday foods and eating them may cause uncomfortable symptoms or, in rare cases, a severe illness.

Hypnotherapy is good for allergy treatment integrating Hypnosis with other techniques like NLP, behavioural therapy Hypnotherapy improved nasal airflow even in the presence of their allergy triggers (e.g. pollen) and hay fever. Hypnotherapy has shown to help pain management is another area in which hypnotherapy can be extremely useful. hypnotherapy aims to alleviate the fear and anxiety associated with the pain, helping the nervous system become less reactive to it.
