Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy can be an essential resource in managing emotional distress. It is particularly beneficial in providing you with the skills and understanding needed to restore your emotional health and live a more satisfying life. As an experienced professional in this area, I focus on delivering effective treatment for a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to:

  •  Depression

  •  Anxiety

  •  Relationship problems

  •  Low self-esteem

Through my practice, I utilize cognitive therapy, a method that has been extensively validated in treating various psychological issues. This approach is proactive and structured, focusing on identifying and addressing problematic patterns of thinking that contribute to emotional distress. My goal is to empower you with specific techniques that can be applied in your daily life to facilitate rapid improvement in your emotional state and overall functioning. Together, we will work on uncovering the blind spots in your thought processes, enabling you to develop a more effective mindset that not only alleviates your emotional pain but also enhances your ability to achieve your personal goals and desires.

Hypno-psychotherapy operates under an integrative model that merges various therapeutic approaches, including traditional psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and other techniques that emphasise the critical role of self-awareness in shaping emotions and behaviors. This approach draws the strengths of each modality, allowing for the client's experiences and challenges. For instance, cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns that contribute to emotional distress. Psychoanalysis examines the unconscious mind to reveal underlying issues that may influence current behaviour. Hypno-psychotherapists have a far greater range of techniques and approaches at their disposal to assist clients with their treatments, able to utilise both hypnotic and psychotherapeutic interventions. Hypno-Psychotherapy is still brief therapy, but a hypno-psychotherapist can employ both hypnotic and psychotherapy-based interventions to assist clients in reaching their goals. These interventions are based on Evidenced Based Practice importance of self-awareness in how we feel and behave. The techniques used in Hypno-psychotherapy are well-established, powerful, and often rapidly effective; however, they are always adapted to suit the individual client. This form of therapy allows clients to release emotions in a supportive environment, enabling each client to move forward without carrying the burden of past traumas.
